Awkward and Awesome

Well, I've read several of Olivia's "Awkward and Awesome " posts over at her blog Fresh Modesty (She has the cutest clothes by the way!) And I decided to try one of my own. :)

So....here goes! 

Awkward:

•  Meeting a stranger in McDonalds, who thought I was 15 when I'm 20. 
• Breaking out into opera while washing dishes, then turning around because of the silence of everyone staring at you like you lost your mind. 
• Going quickly up to the piano to play for invitation, and your shoes being at your seat. Then the elderly lady that was sitting next to you saying rather loudly, "You forgot your shoes!" 
• Trying to say something in a dramatic way that you had straight in your mind, but came out completely wrong. 
• Telling people you just met about strange things you did as a child, then thinking that maybe you shouldn't be telling that to just anyone. 
• A guy you just met starting a conversation about relationships, and you don't know exactly how to nicely discourage him. 
• My very, um....unique way of playing volleyball. 

Ok, so now it's time for Awesome:

• The lady you met at McDonald's that thought you were 15 says you're pretty enough without wearing makeup. :)
• Being told by 4 different people that you're beautiful in one week, which is probably more than I've ever been told that in one year. 
• All the trips that I'll be going on this year! Being the photographer at Camp Liberty in July in New Iberia, Going on 2 trips for a wedding I'm photographing in Florida, and getting to see Florida, for the first time, and going to Alabama for the first time for a ladies conference in September. 
• Getting to guest post for my most faithful commenter on my blog, Vicki. 
• Having two good friends getting married this year. 
• Putting together a whole new outfit just by mixing up a few things from my closet. 
• Getting to watch my brother ride in a plane this Saturday, for the first time. And his birthday's in 2 weeks. And it's free. 

Well, I could go on and on, but I think I would eventually bore ya'll. ;)
